About The Event

Nothing brings a garden to life like a host of native birds making the space their home. And whether you’ve only recently taken up an interest in attracting more backyard birds or you just want to learn more, we hope you'll join Mulhall's on Facebook Live to learn more. In this seminar, bird enthusiast and Mulhall's Greenhouse Team Leader Bob Ewing, will share his experience with both plants and birds to help you create an inviting outdoor space for a variety of feathered guests – including some native and migrating species we don’t often see. He’ll talk about feeders, but he’ll also explore how native plants provide the natural seed and insects that birds need to thrive. He’ll show you which landscape plants provide the cover birds look to for protection. And he’ll talk about water sources and their importance in all seasons of the year. Join us for this informative look at the ways our own backyards can be a haven for so many beautiful birds.

This class is part of the Urban Ag Scool track of Growing Gardeners, in partnership with Mulhall's and will be available through Facebook Live.
