As the warm summer transitions to a cooler fall, don’t let your outdoor container arrangements simply fade away. Give your doorstep planter a fresh update with beautiful plants for the season – mums, kale, pansies, even perennials – inspired by fall’s natural beauty.
In this demonstration, Jenny Beukenhorst of Mulhall’s Garden + Home will share ideas for combining a variety of cool-season annuals, decorative branches, fall foliage, grasses, and more to create seasonally-inspired planter displays. Along the way, she’ll share her best care tips to keep your containers thriving all through the season. Whether you love a more natural, cornucopia mix or you prefer a cleaner, simpler style, fall is full of exciting possibilities.
This workshop is part of the Craft + Lifestyle track of Growing Gardeners. Growing Gardeners is a collaborative education program ran by City Sprouts and The Big Garden in Omaha, Nebraska, in partnership with Mulhall's.
